With the devil as my partner
riding on the highway
nothing left to loose but me

Escaping from the ashes
in my time of dying
nothing much for me to see

But I know... the devil's gonna rescue me

The weight up on my shoulders
telling me to go back
back from where I came to die

But now that you don't want me
the voice inside my head says
there's nothing that I left behind

On a shame filled road
with the devil calling shotgun
